Our Mission: Helping Adults Learn to Read and Succeed

Founded in 1986, the Literacy Council of Washington County, Maryland has helped adults improve reading, writing, and English skills through free, one-on-one tuturing.
Our mission is simple: to support adults in gaining the skills they need to build confidence, independence, and opportunity.
